Bureau Veritas Asure Quality (BVAQ) and Qualibet Testing Services Corporation holds official inauguration ceremony

The official inauguration ceremony of Bureau Veritas Asure Quality (BVAQ) and Qualibet Testing Services Corporation took place last month, signifying its intent to be the leading entity in the Philippines Agri-Food & Feed sectors.

The acquisition of Qualibet, an internationally accredited company that boasts the most modern testing facilities in the country, strengthens BVAQ’s testing capabilities and expertise in Philippines and enables BVAQ to support its clients from within the region.

Over 100 VIPs and guests from the food and feed industry graced the occasion and bear witness to this landmark event, which was hosted by John Pan, BVAQ SEA Group Manager, Joseph Homer Macapagal, BV Philippines Country Chief Executive, and Pinky Tobiano, the BVAQ Philippines Director.

A panel discussion "Compliance Towards Regulatory Standards" was a key highlight of the event where our esteemed panelists shed light on experiences, future prospects and challenges associated with regulatory compliance in the industry. Moderated by BV SEA Business Development Director Ronald Suba, it was exciting to hear from our panelists Dr. Enrico Miguel L. Capulong, OIC of the Division Chief for Animal Feeds, Veterinary Drugs, and Biologics Control Division, Mr. Errol Angeles, Consultant at San Miguel Foods and Mr. Edwin Mapanao, President of the Philippine Association of Feedmillers, Inc (PAFMI).

Following the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony, BVAQ-Qualibet is now formally introduced to the Philippines where the safety and health of Filipinos is expected to be further bolstered with our global expertise, unique technical experience, professional standards and integrity.
