Bureau Veritas Sarawak recently signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), a global institution empowering communities, nurturing creativity and pioneering innovation for a sustainable world.
This partnership is a significant step in establishing relationships between academia and the industry in supporting the sustainable energy development agenda in Sarawak. Through this collaboration, we aim to:
✅ Increase training opportunities, knowledge transfer and facility development to support a more impactful research system.
✅ Address the challenges and close the critical gaps, in addition to organising competency-based accredited engineering courses and accredited training.
✅ Drive initiatives to strengthen collaboration in hydrogen development and sustainability.
The MoU signing ceremony saw UNIMAS represented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Professor Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib, ISuRE Director, Professor Dr Shanti Faridah Salleh, ISuRE Deputy Director Dr yonis buswig, and Bureau Veritas Sarawak by, Country Chief Executive, Dato Mohd Nizam ABDULMALIK, Director, Ahmad Sazali Anuar, and Business Development Representatives, Asnan Mawardi Bin Anuar and Ts. Arnold Alexius Asiew.
