Bureau Veritas Vietnam appointed as the Project Management Consultant by Yen Hung Petrochemical JSC

Bureau Veritas Vietnam has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant for the refrigerated LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) storage terminals by Yen Hung Petrochemical JSC located at Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone, Quang Ninh.
 
With LPG as an important component of Vietnam’s energy transition, the project is a significant addition to Vietnam's LPG infrastructure and is set to become one of Vietnam's main refrigerated LPG storage terminals. The availability of LPG through refrigerated storage tanks will enhance Vietnam's energy security, promote a more stable and secure energy supply, and provide opportunities for businesses to access cheap refrigerated LPG in large volumes, due to a decrease in intermediate storage and transport costs.
 
Upon completion, a total capacity of 176,400m3 of LPG can be stored in the terminals which comprises one cold LPG storage (capacity 160,000m3) and one pressurised LPG storage (capacity ~16,400m3). The scope of work will include design review, procurement management, HSE management and commissioning, which will ensure the successful delivery of the project by 2026.
