Bureau Veritas Vietnam named key partner for Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage in the construction of its sustainable factory

Bureau Veritas Vietnam (BVVN) has partnered with Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage for the design review and construction supervision services of their latest Vietnamese state-of-the-art factory, located in Huu Thanh Industrial Zone, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province.

A strategic alliance between PepsiCo. and Suntory Holdings Limited, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Co., Ltd (SPVB) is the leading company in Vietnam’s beverage market. With the new factory, it is the largest investment in the company’s history in Vietnam. Spanning nearly 20 hectares and involving an estimated investment of over 300 million USD, the factory is estimated to produce 800 million litres annually. The factory will also utilise renewable energy sources such as biomass fuel and solar energy which will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions during production. Additionally, it will offer products in packaging made from recycled plastic and implement initiatives to conserve natural resources during production.

BVVN will not only provide design review and construction supervision services, it will also support Suntory Pepsico in obtaining the LEED Gold Green Building Certification and GMP compliance.
