BV Indonesia Director, Didie Tedjosumirat, recently participated as a panel speaker in Indonesia Green Connect (IGC) 2025, a business and policy dialogue forum by Energy Academy Indonesia | ECADIN and Directorate for Science and Technology Area (DKST) Institut Teknologi Bandung, bringing together key stakeholders from government ministries, industry, academia, and policymakers for strategic discussions on critical issues in sustainable development.
During a panel session titled, “Decarbonization and Diplomacy: A Multi-Stakeholder Approach in the Energy Transition”, he addressed the importance of verification and certification in ensuring that emission reduction efforts are credible and internationally recognized. He also outlined both the opportunities and challenges in Indonesia’s energy transition such as ambitious renewable energy targets and growing green finance on one hand, and policy inconsistencies, infrastructure gaps, and project risks on the other.
We extend our appreciation to the organizers of Indonesia Green Connect 2025 for convening a meaningful dialogue on the nation’s energy transition. BV Indonesia is committed to advancing transparency and collaboration through verification and certification to ensure decarbonization efforts are both credible and measurable. We are excited to continue shaping a sustainable low-carbon future.
