BV Indonesia organised a workshop with with the IFC - International Finance Corporation and SMBC Indonesia!

BV Indonesia, in partnership with the IFC - International Finance Corporation and PT Bank SMBC Indonesia Tbk (SMBC Indonesia), held a workshop at KIIC Industrial Estate (KIIC) titled “Unlocking the Benefits of Green Industrial Buildings – Road to Net Zero Carbon.” 

The event highlighted our commitment to promoting sustainable growth and accelerating industrial decarbonization in Indonesia through green construction, renewable energy, and sustainable finance. It also served as a platform to encourage collaboration between government, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders in supporting Indonesia’s low-carbon transition. 

The workshop began with BV Indonesia’s Director, Didie Tedjosumirat, and KIIC’s Head of Asset Development, Haris Arianto, emphasizing their commitment to sustainable industrial development in Karawang. IFC’s Green Building Regional Lead East Asia and Pacific, Benjamin Van der Auwera, introduced the EDGE and Zero Carbon frameworks, followed by BV’s BD Manager for Buildings & Infrastructure, Anto Waras, showcasing Bureau Veritas’ green industry services, and SMBC Indonesia’s Syndication & ESG Solutions Head, Denti Irfiano Irman, discussing sustainable finance to support green technologies.
