BV Vietnam appointed as the Owner’s Engineering Consultant for the Truong Son 2 Wind Power Plant Project.

BV Vietnam has been appointed as the Owner’s Engineering Consultant for the Truong Son 2 Wind Power Plant Project, marking a significant step forward in the region’s clean energy transition. 

The Truong Son 2 Wind Power Plant Project, part of the Truong Son wind farm, is set to become one of South East Asia’s largest wind power developments, with a total installed capacity of 350 MW across Borikhamxay and Khammouane provinces in Laos. The project will be implemented from June 2025 to December 2025. All generated electricity will be exported to Vietnam via a 220kV transmission line spanning 105 km, reinforcing cross-border energy cooperation and regional energy security. 

As the Owner’s Engineering Consultant, BV Vietnam will oversee quality and safety management, schedule and cost control, and represent the investor’s interests throughout the project lifecycle - from construction to commercial operation.
