Congratulations to Bureau Veritas Vietnam on its collaboration with Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation Mechanical & Construction (PTSC M&C) for the Gallaf Batch 3 Project, the next developmental phase of the Al-Shaheen oilfield! Marking this occasion was the first steel cutting ceremony for the Gallaf Batch 3 project held on February 28th in Vung Tau, South Vietnam.
Located off the coast of Qatar, the North Oil Company-operated oilfield is Qatar’s largest offshore oilfield and one of the largest offshore oilfields in the world. As the third-party agency for PTSC's entire project scope, BV Vietnam will provide a span of testing, inspection and certification services to maximise the value of the project assets. This ranges from the design review and construction supervision in Vung Tau to the commissioning of the oilfield in Qatar.
