Centara Hotels & Resorts obtains the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification

Congratulations Centara Hotels & Resorts for obtaining the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification across 12 of their properties in Thailand! 

As Thailand’s leading hotel operator with over 70 properties worldwide, this certification underscores Centara’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. The GSTC certification, recognised as the global standard for sustainable travel and tourism, aligns with Centara’s goal of having all hotels and resorts GSTC-certified by 2025. 

Dr. Wichit Sophitanontrat, BV Thailand CIF Country Chief Executive and Saravut Suparatanachatpun, Head of Certification, presented the certificate to Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts, and Supatra Chirathivat, Senior Executive Vice President of CSR.
