Congratulations to Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries for being the first port in South East Asia to be awarded the Green Terminal Label Certification! Dato' Mohd Nizam Abdul Malik, BV Malaysia Country Chief Executive, presented the certificate to the Group Managing Director of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad, Datuk Ng Kiat Min.

Awarded to SPSB's subsidiaries, Sapangar Bay Container Port (SBCP) and Sapangar Bay Oil Terminal (SBOT), the Green Terminal Label Certification is a global standard that acknowledges the port’s commitment to environmental sustainability and excellence in operational practices. Developed by Bureau Veritas Group, our Green Terminal concept is based on eight pillars: sustainability management, community commitment, sustainable development, green energy solutions, digital integration, employee training, environmental control, and circular economy practices, underscoring SPSB’s unwavering commitment to sustainable port operations and its dedication to continuous improvement in the services provided to port users.
